BibShelf Book Organizer

BibShelf is a book organizer integrating well with the GNOME desktop environment.

It helps you to keep track of your book collection. You can fill in such things as the book summary, review, rating and the ISBN. Never forget when it was that you read a book, BibShelf lets you save the date so you do no longer need to waste your brain capacity for storing this information.

Before You Download

In order to be able to install BibShelf, you will need other software on your computer. Please make sure that the following development packages do already exist:

gtkmm-2.4
libxml++-1.0

Users not familiar with installing source packages are recommended to ask their distributor to provide them with an easy to install binary package. Please do not hesitate to file a bug if you run into problems installing the software..

Hacking BibShelf

If you want to get involved in BibShelf development, contact me for a CVS account. I hand them out freely.
